Trust is our whole product. Here is exactly how we operate — in plain language.
Every order carries a name and a WhatsApp number, and a human on our desk speaks to every customer before funds settle. For larger trades we ask for a government-issued ID and may ask about the source of funds. This protects you — it means stolen funds can't be laundered through the desk and honest customers aren't exposed to them.
We refuse trades we cannot understand. We verify crypto payments on the blockchain itself, keep records of every order, and cooperate with lawful requests from Gambian authorities. If a counterparty pressures you to trade urgently, to keep a trade secret, or to pay a stranger on their behalf — stop and talk to us first.
Digital assets are volatile. Prices can move sharply in minutes, and the value of any crypto asset can fall as well as rise. Stablecoins aim to track the US dollar but are not bank deposits and carry issuer risk. Atlantic Exchange provides exchange services only:
Unhappy about anything? Message the desk with your order reference and the word "complaint" — the owner reviews every complaint personally. We store the data needed to run your orders (name, contact, order details); order details are shared with our internal operations channel so the desk can settle your trade, and nothing is sold or shared outside Atlantic Exchange. We delete your data on verified request, subject to record-keeping obligations.
Atlantic Exchange is an independent private business. We are not affiliated with, licensed by, or endorsed by the Central Bank of The Gambia. We use the CBG's publicly published daily valuation rate purely as a transparent pricing reference, the same way anyone can read it on cbg.gm.
